Dr. Kris Miraglia, PsyD, ME.d (they/she)
|
I am a graduate of Widener’s Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology and Center for Human Sexuality Studies. I have five years of experience working with diverse populations including those struggling with trauma, identity conflicts, disordered eating, and those at a variety of developmental ages and stages. I specialize in providing mental healthcare to the transgender and the larger LGBTQIA+ community. I particularly enjoy working with preteens, adolescents, and young and emerging adults. I have training and experience working with individuals, couples, poly-relationship styles, and families and I employ an intersectional approach to practice wherein I center the complexity, context, strengths, and inherent knowing of the individual in order to guide the therapy process. I strive to work through a multicultural, trauma-informed, affirming lens. My work incorporates theory and practice from relational dynamic approaches, feminist/ multicultual theories, and queer theories. As a therapist, I believe in using an integrative approach where my clients are welcome to explore difficult or private subjects including self-image, trauma, relationships, and a variety of other topics.

Dr. Jacob Glickman, Psy.D., M.Ed, M.A., LPC (He /Him)
Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor. |
I am a graduate of Widener University (the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology doctoral program) and La Salle University (the Counseling and Family Therapy master’s program). Currently, I am also completing a second doctorate at Widener’s Center for Human Sexuality Studies with a focus on studying the formation and dismantling of prejudice. As a queer, Middle Eastern, trans man, my identities inform my past decade of work as a feminist therapist with an interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I specialize in providing mental healthcare for people who identify as transgender/non-binary/gender expansive, as well as the larger LGBTQIA+ communities and their families; additionally, I maintain an anti-racist, sex positive, kink positive, and poly-aware practice. Through an integrative approach, I help people of all ages co-construct an atmosphere in which they can share their stories, expand their relationships, and find their power in a way that aligns with their values. I also believe in the healing magic of art, music, gaming, fandom, pets, humor, and questioning everything, all of which I consider an important part of therapy.
