Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

We are an out of network provider for insurance. I am happy to provide a superbill with all the relevant information for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement. 

What if I take medication?

We are pleased to work in collaboration with numerous trusted psychiatrists who can provide medication management. 

 ​Where is your office located?

We are currently practicing entirely virtually due to the COVID 19 pandemic. We use a HIPPA compliant telehealth platform. 

​What is the process of getting started?

At the beginning of therapy we suggest scheduling three initial sessions to assess your presenting issues, get to know one another, and decide if we are a good match. During the third session we will provide my clinical impression and make suggestions for further treatment. Duration of treatment is quite variable depending on the person, their goals, and the nature of the presenting issue. we request that you commit to weekly sessions. 

​What is your cancellation policy?

​We ask that you please allow 48 hours notice for cancellations. We bill for the cost of the session with less than 48 hours notice. 

What should I do in case of emergency?

​If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
